The Representation of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the Republic of Belarus herewith would like to invite existing and new potential partners to apply for its Call for Expression of Interest for 2018 projects. Totally five projects are announced, covering various areas of concern to UNHCR in Belarus: medical, social and legal assistance and support provided to its persons of concern (PoCs), including addressing their specific needs; integration and employment activities for the named category; education and development of PoC children and adolescents; advocacy and information for policy-makers and professional groups, targeted work with academia, mass media and general public. Please refer for more details to the attached Annexes 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D and 1E.

Please pay a special attention that the submission of your project ideas to be done via the UNHCR’s Partner Portal ( exclusively, thus the enclosed template for a concept note (Annex 2) is attached for information purposes only. The organizations / entities interested in cooperation with UNHCR should visit the named Partner Portal and register there prior to submitting project ideas. The registration procedure is open and free-of-charge for all interested perspective partners. The deadline for submissions is 25 October 2017.

Your submissions will be reviewed by the UNHCR Implementing Partnership Management Committee that is responsible for selection and retention of partners in accordance with the criteria stipulated in the present UNHCR’s Call for Expression of Interest. The UNHCR’s decision will be communicated to you by 10 November 2017 the latest. If your proposal is approved, you will be requested to develop a full-pledged project submission in line with UNHCR’s standard requirements by 24 November 2017 COB (they will be communicated to successful applicants separately).
