About Photo Exhibition Dedicated to 65th Anniversary of the United Nations Organization

The Art Gallery“University of Culture” and the Department of Public Information of the UN Office in Belarus have organized an exhibition dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the United Nations Organization. The exhibition presents photos from the collection of the United Nations Dag Hammarskjold Library depicting various episodes of the UN history.

The exhibition presents photos from the collection of the United Nations Dag Hammarskjold Library depicting various episodes of the UN history. The exposition includes unique photos such as, for example, the photo of the UN Founding Conference in San Francisco in 1945 and the photo of Leaders of Major Allied Powers in Yalta in 1945.

The exhibition also tells about humanitarian action of the United Nations as well as about the issues of global concern such as peacekeeping, UN action for the environment, health care, education and human development.

The exhibition is intended to inform visitors about multidimensional efforts of the United Nations Organization all over the world.

The exhibition will be open until 12 November at the Palace of the Republic (1 Oktiabrskaya Square).
