1,134 Belarusians have taken part in the MYWorld on–line survey organized by the United Nations and its partners. Given the country population size, the Republic of Belarus is leading in the voting process on the agenda of development after the year 2015. Voting results in neighboring countries are as follows: Ukraine: 1800 people have voted, Russia: over 400, Poland: over 200.

As of now, the largest number of people voted in Brazil: about 7,000.  By the end of February of 2013, more than 53,000 respondents from 189 countries around the globe have joined in the survey.

It is worth mentioning that in most countries of the world women are more active in the survey than men.  In Belarus, so far, men have proved more active.  By selecting one of the sixteen suggested issues that would make the most difference in their lives, Belarusians have pointed out six topics of the most concern for them, i.e., an honest and effective government; better  healthcare; protection against crime and violence; available and good education; protecting forests, rivers and oceans; and political freedoms.

The MY World web–resource is a part of the World After 2015 global project aimed at identifying the opinions, priorities and views of people to be delivered to world leaders who begin to elaborate the new development agenda.

We would like to invite all people of Belarus to take an active part in the survey by voting at
