Film Week Dedicated to World Day Against Trafficking in Beings (30 July) Will Take Place at Gallery “Cekh”

On 27–31 July 2015 the film week dedicated to the World Day Against Trafficking in Beings, that is celebrated all over the world on 30th of July, will take place at the gallery “Cekh”. During the week will be demonstrated the films of American, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Serbian and Swedish directors reflecting the issue of human trafficking its consequences and status of victims of human trafficking in the society.

On 27–31 July 2015 the film week dedicated to the World Day Against Trafficking in Beings, that is celebrated all over the world on 30th of July, will take place at the gallery “Cekh”.

During the week will be demonstrated the films of American, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Serbian and Swedish directors reflecting the issue of human trafficking its consequences and status of victims of human trafficking in the society.

The agenda of the event includes the following films:

–Film about human trafficking, 2005 , USA, Canada, directed by Christian Duguay;

–Lady Zee, 2005, Bulgaria; directed by Georgi Dulgerov;

–Call Girl, 2012, Sweden: directed by Mikael Marcimain;

 –Ally’s dream, 2004, Belarus, directed by Maria Malinovskaya;

–Sisters (Sestre), 2011, Serbia, directed by Vladimir Paskaljevic.

The film week is organized by the International Organization for Migration in the republic of Belarus within the international technical assistance project “Strengthening National Capacity of Republic of Belarus in Sphere of Combating Trafficking in Human Beings” being implemented jointly with the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Belarus with the support of the Embassies of the USA, Bulgaria, Serbia, Sweden to the Republic of Belarus, UNDP in Belarus and USAID.
