Express peace! Storytelling and drawing contest for peace

The contest is organized by the Permanent Representation of the International Organization of La Francophonie to the United Nations in New York and the United Nations Department of Public Information. The competition is open to participants between the ages of 5 and 18 around the world. Young people aged 5 to 10 years old should submit a drawing, and those 11 to 18, a story. The contest entries should illustrate the values of peace or how cultural diversity contributes to peace.

Launched on 20 March 2015, on the occasion of the international Day of ia Francophonie and the French Language Day at the United Nations, it is open to participants between the ages of 5 and 18 around the world. Young people aged 5 to 10 years old should submit a drawing, and those 11 to 18, a story. The contest entnes should illustrate the values of peace or how cultura: diversity contributes to peace. The winning ones will be published in a book. Please indude your first name, last name, date of birth, e–mail address and country of origin. All drawings must be digitized (PDF or JPEG format) and stories (PDF or word format), either in French or English, must not exceed 800 words. Winners must provide proof of their date of birth.

Participants retain ownership rights for their drawings or text, but by participation in the contest, they agree to give the International Organization of La Francophonie (IOF) the exdusive, irrevocable rght to use the contents of their submission, fully or partially, without compensation.
