Minsk held a Contest of Young Scientists on Actual Problems of Modern Economy
The Contest was organized by the "Belarusian Economic Magazine" within the UNDP Project "Promoting a Dialogue on Major Directions of Social and Economic Policy." The Contest Commission has summarized the results and defined the winners at its sitting.
The First Place was awarded to Ms. Tarassevich, Zh. K., Executive Director of the Belarusian Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers named after Professors M. S. Kuniavskiy, for the work "Criterion Approaches to SME Definition."
The Second Place was awarded to: >
Mr. Berchenko, N. G., Deputy Director of the State Scientific Institution "The Vitebsk Research Centre of Regional Development," for the work "Evaluation Criteria and Indicators of a Regional Economic Potential in the Context of Sustainable Development Paradigm";
Mr. Morozevich, O. A., Assistant of the Belarusian State Economic University (BSEU), for the work "Key Development Factors of Bank Business Processes."
The Third Place was awarded to:
Ms. Lukianova, I. A., Assistant of the BSEU, for the work "Tax Burden as an Indicator of a Country's Taxation System: Problems of Computation and Application";
Mr. Malashko, A. P., Senior Teacher of the BSEU, for the work "Topical Issues of Loss Indemnification (Economic and Legal Aspects."
