Hot Line on Drug Addiction in Action

14 December 2007 - Questions related to drug addiction were directed to experts during a hot line, which was held at the premises of the editorial office of the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper. The teleconference was arranged under the EU/UNDP BUMAD Programme (Programme for the Prevention of Drug Abuse and the Fight against Drug Trafficking in Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova).

Answering the questions were head of the adolescent section of the Minsk clinical narcological dispensary, Ludmila Shpakovskaya, chairman of the public board of the Mothers Against Drugs national association, Yelena Pisarenko, deputy director for psychological rehabilitation of the Phoenix center, Olga Zare, senior detective for especially important cases with the department for drug control and the fight against human trafficking of the Chief Department of Criminal Police of the Ministry of the Interior, Gennady Radevich, and manager of the BUMAD Programme, Irina Zhygalko.
