Project Objective & Brief Description: |
Project’s aim is to introduce mechanisms that would facilitate integration of Strategic Environmental Assessment into policy-making process, instill and ensure effective operation of SEA, enhance awareness of the benefits of applying SEA. The project will support the development of a national strategy for conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, assist to improve coordination of national agencies in order to enhance the implementation, monitoring and reporting on environmental conventions ratified by Belarus. |
